Interdisciplinary Department of Social Sciences - Bar Ilan University
Bar Ilan University's Interdisciplinary Department of Social Sciences was established in 1974 with the intent on integrating the study of multiple disciplines of the Social Sciences. The department has expanded into different tracks within the fields of behavioral sciences, economics and society.
Tracks of Study
The department currently consists of three tracks:
All of the tracks are studied as an extended major only.
- "Prat" Track- Studies in the fields of: Psychology, Criminology and Sociology.
- "klal" Track- Studies in the fields of: Economics, Sociology and Political Science.
- "Rentgen" Track- Multi-field studies in Social Sciences, X-ray imaging and Life Sciences.
Today there are more than 800 students currently enrolled in the three tracks of the Interdisciplinary Department of Social Sciences.
